Audio Recording
- We collect audio recordings you choose to record and the text transcripts generated from them.
- Purpose: to convert speech to text, provide searchable transcripts, and improve feature quality (only with your opt-in).
- Processing: transcription can happen on-device or on secure servers (we’ll show which).
- Retention: raw audio kept for [30 days] by default (or until you delete); transcripts kept for [12 months] (customize as needed).
- Sharing: we do not sell your data; we may share recordings with trusted transcription providers or as required by law.
- Security: data is protected with industry-standard measures (encryption in transit/at rest, access controls).
- Your rights: you can view, export, delete recordings/transcripts, withdraw consent for model-improvement use, or contact us at email.
Quick consent text (in-app): “AI BookBot will record audio and convert it to text. Audio may be processed on your device or uploaded to secure servers. Allow recording?” — Allow / Deny (+ optional “Use my recordings anonymously to improve the service” toggle).
